erica and brian's wedding

What a beautiful wedding! Erica and Brian were married at Reid Chapel at Samford with a reception at Park Lane. Not only are they a delightful couple, but they have an amazing group of family and friends. I asked Erica to give me a few details about her and Brian.

how you met? We met our senior year of high school. Brian was looking for a Homecoming date.

First date? We made spaghetti and meatballs at Brian's house for dinner, then watched the movie "Major League"

First time you knew this person was the one? Sometime between our first date and the day Brian proposed :)

How did you propose? It was Easter Sunday our senior year of college, and we were in Mobile visiting Brian's family after our first Spring Break together since high school. We decided to watch the sunset over the Bay at our favorite park. This was not an unusual thing for us to do but it was a big surprise when Brian got down on one knee.

most memorable date so far? This is a hard question—too many! Our senior year of high school, we went to a Hootie and the Blowfish concert. In between songs, we chanted "Closing Time" (a song not on any of their CDs), and they actually played it on the encore. We were ecstatic!

favorite part of the wedding? Again, this is a hard question. Being surrounded by so many of our friends and family. What a blessing they are to us.

who came that you weren't expecting that you were so glad to see? here were a lot of friends who came from all over the country (even Canada), and we were so excited that they could come share in our celebrations.

Dream vacation (or 1st anniversary trip)? A road trip up the California coast.

most memorable part of the whole wedding experience? Telling our friends and family the news.

favorite thing about married life so far? Not having to drive back and forth between Birmingham and Auburn!

best wishes to Brian and Erica for a wonderful marriage. Check out their slideshow at www.lainewilliamsphotography.com/slideshow/erica_brian_wedding.
